The newsletter provides updates and information on Curriculum for Excellence progress, developments and events. Multiple copies are distributed to all schools and early years centres as well as a number of other educational establishments.

The spring edition includes a Ministerial foreword from Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning Fiona Hyslop. Her ambitions are focused on achieving better educational outcomes for all young people, with more choices and more chances for those young people who need them. There is also information about the trialling of the draft experiences and outcomes; assessment, inspection and qualifications.
